Their desires were multifaceted: a bug-free space for relaxation, seamless transitions from indoors to outdoors, and a deck merging with a new stone patio. Safety and elegance were paramount; they sought a graceful staircase connecting deck, patio, and garden. The outdated wood pergola and deck were replaced, while pragmatic plexiglass inserts yielded to a design allowing daylight into the basement family room. The result?
