In a tranquil corner, a weathered deck underwent a remarkable transformation, evolving into an award-winning project that now serving as a serene retreat. The clients envisioned more than a mere porch — they dreamed of an insect-free retreat harmonizing with their lush landscaping. Their desires were multifaceted: a bug-free relaxation space, seamless indoor and outdoor transitions, and a deck merging with a new stone patio. Safety and elegance were paramount; they sought a graceful staircase connecting the deck, patio, and garden. The outdated wood pergola and deck were replaced, while pragmatic plexiglass inserts yielded to a design allowing daylight into the basement family room. The result? A space marrying practicality with aesthetic splendor.
