Kitchen with Family Room

- Takoma Park, MD -

This renovation transformed an once dark, narrow, and unusable kitchen into a bright, functional open space. By opening the layout and connecting it to a new adjacent family room, the design maximizes natural light and improves everyday living. A south-facing window seat in the family room creates a warm, inviting spot that enhances the feeling of connection between the kitchen and living space. The result is a more open, engaging heart of the home that supports both cooking and family life.
